Description
I shot this image testing a 10 stop ND filter after a hike into the rainforest in pouring rain. The rain made it impossible to get anymore usable photos and I had to hold an umbrella over the camera to get this one photo after placing all my other gear under a ledge on the left hand side out of view. I couldn't focus with the dark filter so guessed the focus and it worked with the aperture used. Obviously the rain is invisible with the long shutter but it was chaos. I will get back up when it calms and try get the smaller rapids below.

Great photo! I don't have all that much experience shooting in the rain and certainly not in the kind of rain that you're describing so I'm sure it was quite the hardship. I am curious about something though, looking at the Exif. Is there a reason why this was shot at ISO 800? Were you getting too little light even at 75/1? I don't have a 10 stop ND filter myself, so I don't know first hand just how dark that is. It makes me wonder if you could have managed without it.
Let me know if you get the time. I'm really curious!
